![]() Franklin Ross (guitars) is the group's founder. His interest in music began as a child in Spain where he joined a group of students to play traditional folk music. His musical influences are varied, ranging from pop to jazz and classical. Michael Fan (violin) Michael is the Concertmaster with the Tucson Pops and a member of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. He is a founding member of the TSO Piano Trio. He performs in a variety of styles and has a special affinity for jazz. Jay Vosk (flute, clarinet & saxophone) was born in New York City and was exposed to classical, jazz and a variety of ethnic styles. He has earned degrees in music from the Eastman School of Music and University of Michigan. Jay is also an active composer and arranger. His composition, Canyons was performed by the National Quartet at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. George Blum (Violin) George is a violinist from Madison, Wisconsin who plays with the Tucson Symphony Orchestra. He earned his degree from the U of A and is a master luthier. Guest percussionist : Alan Voelkel (tambourine, raspa, homemade maracas, African tuned ( wooden drum and Moroccan drum) A special thanks must go to Alan for the many hours he spent on the layout of the Cassettes and CD's. |
